High Net Worth Investors
To qualify as High Net Worth you either need an annual income of £100,000 p.a. (and you must specify your income to the nearest £10,000) or net assets of £250,000 outside your main home and pension (and you must specify your net assets to the nearest £100,000).
Remember your net assets can include equity in your property portfolio or cash held in your company if you are in sole control of those funds.
Rules for Sophisticated Investors
Qualify as a Sophisticated Investor through experience, directorship, or angel network membership. New? Access education and events during your 6-month onboarding.

Finance Experience
You have worked in the finance or private equity sector in the last 2 years.
Company Director
You are a director of a company with a turnover of £1 million or more.
