What Will You Learn?

  • Why the family offices of the wealthy invest three times as much of their portfolio in private equity as they do in property?
  • What is private equity and how does it differ from stocks and shares listed on the public markets?
  • How can I access the best opportunities and avoid the scammers and dreamers?
  • Where can I meet other like-minded entrepreneurs and hear about their experiences?
  • How can I reduce my tax bill on Private Equity investments?

Who Is Running The Event?

Beaufort Private Equity operates Europe’s largest private members club for sophisticated and high net worth investors with 560 members in 37 countries.

From their bases in London, Gibraltar and Dubai they look for the best private equity opportunities and conduct their own due diligence on them before making them available to members. They reject 90% of the opportunities that they look at.

Because they are paid by the companies for whom they raise capital, Beaufort does not charge membership or investment fees.

Rethink Tax

Every forward thinking entrepreneur should plan their tax affairs as part of planning their life or developing their business strategy, especially with a new Labour government that is certain to raise taxes on successful people. The problem is your accountant or your IFA is unlikely to know all the ins and outs that can help you legally minimise the tax you pay. That’s why we’ve partnered with a specialist who offers a unique process designed to deconstruct, analyse, strategize and then reload your tax affairs within the letter and spirit of HMRC rules. Using a hybrid of established thinking coupled with the latest tools, Martin and his team routinely achieve remarkable results to optimise your tax position.

“You can’t trust anyone else with your money. It’s important to do the investing yourself and you have to look at alternatives that can give you a return without too much regulation or government intervention. I was going to invest in a property but went into Beaufort investments instead. The people you are with in the Beaufort team and the other investors makes you feel like you’re part of a community. I’m in it for the long term.”
